Going with the flow

I'm SO not a go with the flow kind of person.  I totally am not and I get cranky and whiny and feel very much like a bad Christian.  Ugh.

Radiant

I took Ryan for his novice speech camp today.  I saw the speech teacher - that Ryan had for debate last year - and she told me I looked "radiant."  I didn't know what to say.  Of course my first thought was what do I look like normally and couldn't just accept the compliment but then I have to say I just enjoyed that little sliver.  Radiant - cool.

Keep on keepin' on

I have now surpassed the number of blog entries that I had in my old blog "from the inside out" and I'm at 48 for this blog.  I hope that means that I will be able to continue to Keep on, keepin' on as I integrate intuitive eating (or mindful eating) along with my diabetes.  It's a lesson in continuing to believe that God can use everything, He is faithful and leaning on Him - not my own understanding.

Happy Labor Day - a good day to kick back and enjoy the last part of summer and the promise of cooler weather for the fall.
